Strand is a marketplace and directory that connects clients with certified hair extension specialists. Strand is currently in its pre-launch founding member phase. Strand is a discovery platform, not a salon. All appointments, services, and payments for services are arranged directly between clients and stylists through the stylist's own booking system. Strand is not a party to those arrangements and takes no commission or booking fees.
You agree to provide accurate, current information in your application and profile — including your license, certifications, photos, and pricing tier — and to keep it up to date. Portfolio photos must be your own work or work you have the right to use.
The Strand name, wordmark, website design, and all site content belong to Strand and may not be copied or used without our written permission.
Strand verifies stylist licenses and reviews certifications, but stylists are independent professionals — Strand does not employ them, supervise their work, or guarantee any outcome of services. The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Strand will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or from services arranged between clients and stylists.
We may update these terms as Strand grows. Updated terms will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use of the site means you accept them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
